A Spanish consortium of three companies are manufacturing solar energy materials and led lights & its accessories FOR GLOBAL EXPERT, USA patent approval is already received for led lights,  R&D of the consortium is further focusing to develop Nano Solar Technology too.

Solar Market in MENA Region regarding the Photovoltaic (hereinafter PV) Solar Technology and according to last survey in the MENA region (https://www.apricum-group.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/MENA-Solar-Outlook 2017.pdf ) the International Energy Agency (IEA) has forecast that by 2021 renewable in the MENA region will grow by 78 %, led by the UAE, Egypt and Morocco.

PV on an upward trajectory Solar PV is predicted to account for the lion‟s share of new capacity in the region, especially in Jordan and the UAE, James Kurz, senior consultant at Apricum. The Berlin-based cleantech advisory acted as financial advisor to Swedish advanced materials startup Sol Voltaics in raising $17 million last May, bringing in the Saudi Arabian fund Riyadh Valley Company as the lead investor.

“We expect a PV market that is much more diversified than CSP and wind. Our forecast is for 1 GW to 1.5 GW of PV to be installed in the MENA region during 2017,” Kurz said. “The two largest markets will be Jordan, comprised of IPP tenders, EPC projects and commercial and industrial projects, and the UAE, mainly from DEWA‟s IPP tender and Shams rooftop programs,” he noted. Jordan‟s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) recently invited expressions of interest for 200 MW of PV capacity as part of Round 3 of the direct proposal submissions process that was. The announcement was made during a trade mission organized by the Middle East Solar Industry Association (MESIA) in Amman in November 2016.

At the start of February 2017, the Ministry of Energy announced that the kingdom’s first NREP request for qualification (RFQ) would be issued on February 20, 2017. The Ministry also said that the request for proposals (RFP) for 700 MW of solar and wind power would be issued on April 17, 2017. The RFQ is expected to close in July 2017, with the first round of projects due to be awarded in September 2017.

Electricity Costs and the Economics of PV systems

Over the last four decades, solar module prices have fallen following a price-experience or „learning‟ curve with an average learning rate of about 80 %, i.e. the ASP of solar modules fell by 20 % for each doubling of production volume. This development was driven not only by technological developments but also by market conditions. It is interesting to note that between 2004 and the second half of 2008 the price of PV modules remained fairly constant at roughly USD2016 4 to 4.5/Wp. This occurred despite the fact that manufacturing technology continued to improve and companies significantly scaled up their production.

This becomes obvious by looking at the PV module share in the system price, which shifted from almost 70 % in 2008 to less than 50 % in 2016. Despite the fact that there is a global market for the hardware components of a PV system, e.g. modules, inverters, cables, etc., and that these prices are very similar worldwide, the prices for installed PV systems still vary significantly. The reasons for those differences are manifold, ranging from the different legal requirements for permits, licensing and connection to the grid to the different maturity of local PV markets, with impacts on competition between system developers and installers. PV system prices are changing rapidly, not only in Europe, which opens up new opportunities for PV in a rapid growing number of countries to become one of the major electricity providers in the near future.

LED Lighting Market Outline

The outlook for the Solar &  LED lighting market remains very bright. Despite fluctuations in the economy and the general lighting industry, LED lighting continues to occupy a significant portion of the overall lighting market. In fact, a November 2014 article in LEDinside, a research division of TrendForce, had projected that LED lighting market penetration reached 31 percent of the $82.1 billion global lighting market in 2015.

Other business report consulted, done by Pennwell Corporation, has published the following:

1. LED lamps market to grow to $12.2 Billion in 2020.

2. Competing technologies are still very important.

3. LED luminaire market to grow to $21.3 Billion in 2020.

4. Commercial, industrial, outdoor and architectural will be leading the way.

Lastly the increase in energy prices in the Middle East and worldwide occurred recently

Increases the pressure to local Governments to implement new strategies for electricity savings.

The proposed business is based upon an internationally patented technology.

Initial expected project cost is 50Million USD and expandable upto 200Million USD or more.

If any interested investors across the globe are welcome to Saudi Arabia or any other part of the World for this highly potential and profitable business with Spanish consortium.
